GLAM-ENTINES DAY

Hello ladies, if you are anything like me, your calendar is slowly filling up with new year meet ups and Valentine's Day parties. As temperatures drop and snow seems to hit the ground, more and more obligations seem to spring up. The number one question on my mind after “will there be food” is, “what will I wear”. As my gal-gift to you, I want to share some glam must do's!
Down below, are three tips guaranteed to spice up your look this season, and have you looking festive and ready to celebrate yourself, your significant other or you and all your gals.
#1. Glitter!
Sparkles. Sequin. Patent leather. Shimmer. Reflective fabrics, are a holiday staple. Metallics are perfect for holiday parties all the way into the New Year. Making statements with gold, or silver is a great way to exude that festive energy. A sweater dress with silver or gold flecks is one of my personal go tos'. You will literally brighten up any room you walk into. Who doesn’t want that?
#2. Tip Top Toes
Shoes make all the difference, I know how important it is to step into any event head held high and with confidence. The best way I know how to do that is to step into that event in style, starting with those toes. Thigh high stilettos, booties, closed toe heels, are great depending on how formal your look is. This year, pay more attention to your footwear. It can make or break an outfit.
#3. The Cherry on Top
When I think cherry on top, I think pièce de résistance, I think finale. And no better way to end of the perfect fit than with the perfectly placed hat. The only thing better would be the perfectly placed faux fur scarf. Although, hats aren’t exclusively designated to the holiday season. They add just the right amount of something extra while still being effortless. So for me, they are staples. Especially if you can rework them. Rather than the regular fur vest, or scarf, maybe try a shawl instead or a shirt that has fur around the cuffs or collar.
That’s it ladies! Three tips to get you through this Valentine's Day. Go out there and slay!
